Intelbras Arrives at the Copa do Brasil

CLIENT: Intelbras [2021]

In 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic brought sports competitions to a halt. When they resumed, it was gradually, with empty stadiums. By the 2021 Copa Intelbras do Brasil semifinals, matches were still held behind closed doors, with everyone masked.

Intelbras, the title sponsor, wanted to activate its sponsorship despite the restrictions. Mission accomplished!

At each match, an electronic panel branded with Intelbras’ logo, featuring a TV screen and video camera, was set up at the players’ arrival area. Dozens of Intelbras employees and guests joined a live stream to greet the players as they arrived at the stadium. Simultaneously, the players could see and interact with their fan-supporters on the screen. Touched by the warm reception, many players responded enthusiastically.

The initiative went viral on social media, with players themselves sharing posts. The cherry on top? By bringing players and fans closer together during a time of separation, the action perfectly embodied Intelbras’ slogan: “Sempre Próxima” (Always Close).
